New pain

I attended the clinic in January and was prescribed a wrist splint, which I have worn every night since. The numbness in my left hand I originally reported has subsided, although it hasn't completely disappeared. However, in the last month, I have noticed an increasing pain in my forearm, starting from my elbow down to my wrist. I have made an apppointment with my GP in w/c 9th May to discuss this development.

I don't know if this new sypmtom is connected to CTS, but it is worrying, as it means I can't lift heavy items and find some household difficult. I have completed the questionnaire, as requested, and would like to have another consultation at the clinic.

It probably is worth checking that again. It could either be worsening CTS or an entirely different problem. I'll organise an appointment to get it re-tested fairly soon. JB

Thank you. I will let my GP know you are doing this.

I have a space in the clinic on Monday 16th May at 11:30 if you can make that. It's probably a bit late to get a letter out through the post so I've booked it. If I don't see a reply on here today I'll also email you. JB
