Progress report
Hi.
I received an email from Emma asking how things have been after having an injection in my right wrist.
I can confirm that I did not have any side effects from the injection.
I did see a real improvement after the injection for approximately 6 weeks.
Unfortunately I was still using vibrating hand tools at the time and the symptoms have since returned.
Also I'm having pain in my elbows aswel now.
I would like to request an appointment to discuss these issues if possible.

It will probably be worth checking the nerves at the elbows as well, just in case there is another problem there, though ulnar nerve problems at the elbow usualy do not cause local pain there. JB
I have booked you a new appointment for retesting. It is in 3 weeks time and I will send details by post. EK
Also I would say that the other problem is the same thing returning. I built a flat pack wardrobe last week in the day and I really struggled to move my fingers in the evening.

I would just like to say thank you for seeing me today. It is always a pleasant experience with your department. Also I'm sorry I had to rush off, it was rude of me and I feel quite bad for it.
I can't remember the name of the young lady that saw me this morning but she was really nice and helpful, she is a credit to your department.

Thank you for the update. You mention some additional symptoms in your elbows, do the rest of the symptoms feel like it is the same problem that has returned? It is possible that the steroids have only lasted a short time on this occassion, or that the symptoms are due to something other than carpal tunnel.
