Request or an appointment please
Hello, would it please be possible for an appointment to come and see you again. My left hand has deteriorated a lot lately, numb finger tips, pain in my wrist and numbness at night. I have been wearing my splints but its not making any difference.

You have been booked into a gap in the clinic at 2.30pm on the 28th so there is no chance of a later appointment that day. Do you think you will be able to make it? If you are running a little bit late we should still be able to fit you in. EK
Just out of interest last time I came to clinic the operation was mentioned originally I said no but its on my mind now, what is recovery like after this.
I'm a community care worker so drive a lot and use my wrist all the time. Unfortunately not getting sick pay.
Is there a ling waiting list for the procedure?

Recovery time is roughly two weeks until you can return to normal activity but more like 4-6 weeks until you can return to heavy use of the hand. You can read more about the operation and possible outcomes in the section marked Treatments. If you were to be booked in for surgery with one of our GP surgeons then we could arrange that in December. If you do think you would like to have surgery then we could book you in for a date after your test date with us. You are welcome to call and discuss in more detail. EK
