Hi,
My hands have become worse since having the electric shock treatment, they are swollen and fingers have become bent.
I can not wear the splint at night as my wrist is too swollen.
I am having terrible trouble sleeping due to the pain.
Could you please advise on future procedures available to resolve this issue.

That sounds suspiciously arthritic. The nerve conduction studies are a test, not a treatment, and do not have any lasting effects in themselves so presumably what you have is progresion of some underlying disorder. Does the pain respond to simple anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen? JB
