STERIOD INJECTION AGAIN OR OPERATION

Good morning I left a message on your answer phone on monday 15th. After you sending me to a doctor to have steriod injections in left wrist 7 weeks ok. I went for my 6 week check up and after 6 weeks all the symptons returned again. The doctor in wye suggested me to speak to you about a further course of injections or an operation. What do you think????

As it was a very mild CTS to start off with I think it probably makes sense to try injecting it again - unless the injection was a very unpleasant experience. You can call the SIPC office to arrange this as before - the number is on the contacts page here if you do not have the original letter. The only other alternative would be to operate it and I would generally test it again first if we were considering that. JB
