If you are an East Kent patient, we have not seen you before, and your GP wants us to deal with your CTS I would much prefer it if they did NOT inject it before we get a chance to see you. Steroid injections alter our test results and make it impossible for us to judge how bad the CTS is, and sometimes make it hard to know whether the problem was CTS at all, except by whether or not it responded to the injection. I therefore like to test before someone starts treating it. JB
