whole left arm down to tip of fingers numb

Ref 222695. Not sure what happens now. Filled in questionnaire but dont have carpal tunnel. My symptons are I wake up in the early hours with right from the left shoulder all the way down past elbow to tips of fingers is like a throbbing numbness. After sitting up it gradually wears off. I currently take Methotrexate for Rheumatoid A. Sometimes randomly get same on right arm but not so severe.
Actually it's not impossible that the problem is CTS and it would be worth checking. If you email me your details (as set out on the patient information page) I'll organise an appointment. I'll also move this into the Canterbury patients forum shortly. JB
