Saturday 22nd. I took the motorcycle out left hand OK, The right hand still giving me pins and needles not as much 30% but still there, This would be a problem on a long run, Saturday went ten pin bowling! that did give me 40% pins and needles. and continued into the evening.

Ten pin bowling is another one to add to our list of aggravating activities I think. People who take it seriously use a wrist support which has some things in common with a standard CTS splint and perhaps helps to reduce the problem.. It might be worth thinking about giving that right hand a second dose. The Spanish study comparing surgery with injection did that at 2 weeks after a first injection if symptoms had not resolved entirely. JB

Well 2 weeks after the first injection would be Monday 3rd March (next week) - we can repeat the right hand then if it's still symptomatic.I guess first thing in the morning is probably best. I'll take your phone number out of your message as we already have it and there's no need to give it away in public here. JB

Had my second injection to my right hand on Monday.
So far everything good, ached a little at the end of the day but in fareness I had been to work after the injection.
I get a slight tingling to thumb and forefinger when leaning on the elbow!
But thats not a real problem I would say thats a 99.5% success.

I have just recieved your questing as to how I'm doing after the recent injection in late August.
firstly thanks again for getting me in for a top up injection prior to my motorcycle trip trough Europe it did help.
it does seem that the motorcycle is the main problem though, it is gradually coming back the symptoms being pins and needles in both hand and more importantly the loss of sensation, leading to me having to drop my arms down until the sensation returns
which is an obvious problem when controlling a motorcycle, in the past the test to show weather I have carpal tunnel did not show I have the problem it was not until I had the ultra sound that it became obvious to you that I had it, from this I would like to see if it was a possibility to have surgery to finally resolve the problem! again thanks for your prompt attention in the past,

We can arrange surgery but I would like to check the nerve conduction studies again first, and probably the ultrasound too, as the February results are getting rather too out of date to be used as a pre-op reference if there are problems afterwards. Would you like me to send out an appointment? JB

Regrettably due to work commitments I will at this time be unable to have the surgery starting with the pre-opp on the 17Jan, and the opp on the 31st.

I have recently had surgery on my left hand to relieve carpal tunnel, realy good system at Reculver surgery all went well hand healing well. symptoms gone, problem is right hand giving me a problem, from this I would if possible come in for a top up injection as I will be on a long distance motorcycle holiday soon, and later on in the year if OK with you book to have the right hand done at Reculver Surgery,

We don't create the operating lists that far ahead I'm afraid - we don't know whether surgeons will be on leave or whatever. Given our current scheduling the right time to book a surgery slot is about 6-10 weeks in advance. JB
