Its back......again!!!!!
Hi Jeremy, well following the 4th injections in January the Left hand has got bad again in this last two weeks, it has become very painful in the wrist day and night just below the thumb with pins and needles during night, and a definite weakness and pain when trying to lift anything with it even a cup of tea..
Right hand has started with pins and needles and last night woke with pain in the wrist also.
Would value you opinion but think I am now heading down the road of surgery?
I have done a new assessment this morning.
What sort of time would that be......I finish work at the WHH at around 2pm and can be there by 2.30-3.00pm
I think it will have to be at the end of the afternoon clinc. I'll check on Monday morning. JB
Ok thanks.. If you can let me know the time asap please as need to possibly cancel something else...
yes that's fine.... will be there early as coming straight from work at the William Harvey as not worth coming home first and then driving all the way back to KCH so will have to sit and wait, but if you can squeeze me in earlier that would be great. See you Thursday.
I think I would agree that the surgical option is looking likely, but as I had some uncertainties over diagnosis I would like to check you over once again with both NCS and ultrasound before handing you over to a surgeon. At the moment it looks as though I could squeeze you onto the end of Thursday's clinic if you are free? JB
