Helping with numbness in fingers
3 November 2014 - 7:30am
I have just started to experience CTS and in the course of much detailed research I read an article that recommended the use of flicking movements of the wrist and hands to ease numbness and improve circulation. I regularly use this technique and find it very effective.
I've moved this to the CTS topic as it is really about CTS and not about the website. Many patients discover for themselves that 'flicking' the wrist, 'shaking out' the hand or similar manouevers alleviate the symptoms and it has been written up as a sign of CTS by Pryse-Phillips as the 'flick sign'.
