bruising at the base of my index finger

Hi, I'm not sure if this is anything to do with the cps. But I noticed today a sharp pain at the base of the index finger on my left hand, there was what appeared to be a vein protruding and within moments it turned to a dark bruise across the base of my index finger. It is uncomfortable rather than painful. It's this normal following the injection, or nothing to do with it. Thanks.
it seems to be rather a long way away from the carpal tunnel to be directly connected I think - more likely some coincidental other problem - minor injury perhaps. JB
