Carpal Tunnel results after 3 weeks

If symptoms are persisting ater 4 weeks then it's probably time to think about further treatment - either injection or surgery. You can wear splints whenever you feel they help JB

Can I be tested again to see if the machine shows its got worse as well before I get injections ( a little worried about injections, is it very painful? sorry to sound like a coward!) but must admit i would like this to stop in my hands. I will read about injections on this site if I can to see what its like.

They are not likely to have changed very much in such a short time but if they feel much worse we can certainly re-test at the time you come in for injection. Injections are usually not very traumatic. Emma can arrange this. JB

Hi Had injections and found so far this has worked, it took a week to feel better for me after the injection, but super now, no pins and needles in the night so able to get a better nights sleep, and better in the day too! so far so good! Thank you all at the clinic, all of you there very understanding and helpful this site is great to. Carol

not sure when my last appointment was, it seems like a long time ago, but can i book another appointment as my hands have started to play me up again, in the night as well as the day and also when I'm driving my car

I have been wearing hand braces at night time for 3 weeks and went without them for a few nights and found that cramping came back so I put them back on for anther week, but find at moment if I take them off I get the cramping in hand back also I now am having some pin and needles and numbness in day time too, can I keep wearing hand braces to bed? do I need new ones? and can I wear in day times when at home?

We last saw you in November 2015 so it was quite a while ago. We injected both sides then. If symptpms are back we should see you again and I'll send out an appointment this morning. JB

They have both been great and feel back to normal and I have had no side affects from injection’s
