Update for EKH087374D
7 July 2015 - 6:35pm
Further to my appointment on 18th May 2015 when I saw the Practice Nurse, Emma?
After the tests I was given a new pair of splints and it was suggested I contact your clinic in about four weeks.
I can confirm that the pain seems to have subsided, and although there is still continuous tingling/numbness it does not wake me in the night as frequently as it did. I think the new splints have helped and I am also wearing the left hand one during the day, when driving, carrying shopping etc.
Personally I would consider trying local steroid injection at this point (as you are still waking at night sometimes) but they are your hands and if you feel the symptoms are adequately controlled by splints then that is your decision. JB
