Wrist splints unsuccesful
Hi, I had an appointment at the clinic in November last year and was given wrist splints to wear as a first treatment. I have worn these religiously for several weeks but they are not helping. There is improvement over night when they are actually being worn but when removed the symptoms return. I would like to talk to you again about further options please.
Happy to proceed however you see fit. I work in London and the diary is a bit full for the next couple of weeks. Is it possible to have an appointment w/c 1st Feb? Many Thanks Kerry
I'm sure we can do that. I'll get Emma (who does the injections for me) to make contact and agree a mutually convenient time. JB
Many thanks, I think you have my mobile number but just in case is 07985 465220 if you can pass on to Emma please.
That's quite enough of a trial of splinting I think. As yours is a fairly mild CTS in physiological terms the next obvious thing to try would be local steroid injection. We can do this for during the coming week if you like. JB
