gabby treatment responce

i had steroid injections in both wrist on the 23-3-16 the left hand is so much better but the right hand is no better at al HELP

The right hand was the more severely affected, both subjectively and neurophysiologically, so perhaps is going to be less responsive to steroids. Occasionally hands are slower to respond to injection which is why we generally aim to review them at 6 weeks so I would be inclined to give this a bit longer as it's only been a week. Give it one more week and then run through the symptom severity score in the MyCTS pages here again and drop me another message here. If it is still as bad at two weeks we will have a think about whether either a second dose of steroids or surgery is appropriate. JB
