Using splints after a steroid injection
12 May 2016 - 5:40pm
Simple question. I have had a steroid injection and am in a lot less pain, but it is still there. Should I continue to use the splint?
don't feel I am the first person to ask this but I cannot find the answer in the discussions.

How long after the injection is it? Usually steroid injections take effect within 2-3 days and once they have done so you can then try leaving the splints off and see whether you can live without them. If, on the other hand it has been several weeks and there are still significant symptoms despite splinting then you start to wonder whether further treatment might be needed. JB
