RE splints update
Have worn splints for 3-4 weeks since seeing you which had slight affect but not much, as still getting some numbness in right hand through the night/early hours. I have not worn them for 2 weeks ( when I was meant to message you ) not as bad but have not been using right hand much as had time off of work and now on holiday.
if possible could i try the injections at Canterbury I am available Thursday 2nd June, 16th June, 30th June unfortunately mornings only if this would be possible.

Yes back to my clinic - check here on Wednesday evening though please to make sure it's OK. JB
Hi I had the injection approximately 2 weeks ago now although the tingling and numbness has gone for now I'm now getting an aching pain in my wrist (that I had the injection in ) this is not every day and occurs when I do certain things like lifting and writing as it is now writing this to you, not quite sure wether to leave it a few more weeks to see how it goes and re email you again . D Baber
That's not that uncommon. I would leave it until the 6 week post injection review and we will have a think about it then. JB
sorry for the long delay in replying, im just letting you know the injection seems to have worked for now i have no tingling or numbness, but on occasions i do have a pain in my wrist when i do certain things but its only now and again, if my symptoms return i will be in touch, many thanks D Baber.
Glad to hear it is reasonably OK. Just contact us diectly if/when it feels as though it's deteriorating again. JB
If that is still being a nuisance then the next logical thing to try would be steroid injection given that this is a fairly mild CTS in physiological terms. I can get this done for you by a Faversham GP or you can come to us in Canterbury if that is easier. JB
