first time reporting symtoms since appointment
I have been wearing the splints to sleep in for approx. 5 weeks, I have found that my hands are better first thing in the morning and not waking me up so much during the night. I still have pain when driving for more that 10-15 minutes. And my hands and wrists still hurt in the night if I have been extra busy on that day.
Ok if you think that would help further, as I said i have good and bad days but the good days now out- weigh the bad ones thankfully.
It's probably worth trying injection sooner rather than later. We should be able to fit you in next week sometime (Monday to Thursday at any rate) Is there a good time for you? JB
I have to come to the pain clinic at Canterbury on Tuesday 28 th of June at 09:00 is it possible to come in on the same morning so I don't have to have too much time off work?
Yes that should be OK, just come along to us when you get out of the pain clinic and we'll fit you in. JB
So a partial response to splinting, which is encouraging, but it sounds as though the symptoms are still enough of a nuisance to be worth treating further. Do you want to try a local steroid injection? JB
