Appointment needed
Hi,
I had surgery for my right hand in August and it has recovered well, unfortunately the left has got worse since tho. Today I have seen my Gp and she has filled in her part on the follow up letter, which I will post from work tonight. But since seeing her my left hand is tingling and my fingers are going slightly numb. If I wriggle them they improve slightly and then go back to tingling and numbness in the finger tips. Could you get a nerve trapped up near your shoulder and if so would it have this effect or is it all due to the carpal tunnel. This has been going on for 2hrs now. Is carpal tunnel made worse by stress or the weather conditions too? Sorry to ask but I've never had it as bad. My Gp has recommended repeat nerve conduction studies so I thought I'd better ask for an appointment please.

I'm sorry I'm working on Monday, but if you have any other dates that would be good.
My left hand has stopped tingling all the time now. Out of interest can stress or weather conditions make it worse.
I'll give a ring tomorrow and try and book an appointment.

I've found a slot on Monday 12th Dec for now at 9:00 but if that's another working Monday we can probably change it. JB

Since the appointment today I have spoken to work and they say I can have time off from the 28th Jan so can I please book the surgery for then, if possible. With Dr Rine at Broomfield surgery, I think it was. Thanks very much.
