return of numbnes and pain
hi i'm just after a bit of advise, i had the injection in my right hand some time ago last year i cant remember the exact date, but for a while now i have had the symptoms return in the night but in both hands and sometimes really bad, this is not happening every night and i'm not getting the numbness in the day like i did before however i am getting pain and aching in my right wrist during the day after a bad night when i do certain things i.e lift or move something.

That would be great, if you have anything for Thursday March 9th AM i would be grateful as i only get everyother Thursday off and that is approximately 5 weeks away.

Hi, i had the injections in both wrists about 6 weeks ago, i do get slight numbness in right hand still but only a couple of times since i had the injections other then that all is good at the moment many thanks d baber.

Thank you for the update, glad to hear of the improvements. Could you confirm, do you feel you symptoms are slightly better, much better or cured at the moment? Did you notice any side effects from the injections? EK
Hi I feel my symptoms may be returning, I have started to get the numbness and tingling in my right hand again through the night, I have also got a small lump appear on my wrist this is also slightly swollen and painful not sure if this has anything to do with cts but it is painful and very annoying when trying to write/lift etc. D Baber
Small lumps on the wrist are most commonly ganglion cysts but there are other possibilities. We should see you agsain and take a look at it. I'll get an appointment sent out tomorrow. JB
Just sending you my 6 week after check and to let you know both wrists are fine again and the lump has gone down slightly and the pain surrounding that has also disappeared for now. Thank you

Glad to hear that the symptoms have improved. The pain you mention, was that the pain on the side of your right wrist near the base of your thumb? Did you notice any side effects? EK
Yes the pain was the also at the base of my thumb, and no I had no side affects. All symptoms have gone for now even lump has gone down slightly.
