Happy new year to you and your team. Had my last steriod injection in October 17 I both wrist , sadly the right hand has come back with vengance and left just bearable is there anything you can advice please.

That sounds as though we may be heading for surgery on the right hand at least. If you are available this week or next I'll try to fit you in as extra so that that I can check nothing catastrophic has changed (just occasionally someone develops something entirely new to complicate the picture) and we can then discuss what to do next face to face. Quick update, although right hand still has a little pain, the last 2 nights it has only woke me once through the night ,so a great improvement. Will do my 6 week test as asked by Emma.

Thankyou for the update. With luck it will improve further over the next few weeks. Interestingly, in a Spanish trial published a few years ago, the injection protocol would have involved giving a second dose at this point if there were any residual symptoms and I have often wondered whether that is a good idea or not. To test it out though we should really design a randomised trial to study the issue and it's a bit of an uphill struggle doing any formal studies of steroid injection for CTS. JB

Emma asked me to complete an assessment 6 weeks after my last rh injection although very painful and very weak, on assessment form shows higher than before it is actually better at night and I am getting a break through the night without waking up too many times. Hope this helps with my update. Kind regards

That is still fairly symptomatic overall isn't it. I think most people would give up and operate on it at this point. JB
