Ongoing symptoms
Good Morning. I have ongoing symptoms in both hands - particularly severe in the left hand. I have had two injections in each wrist and once the benefit of these wore off the return of symptoms was really a shock to the system! I would like to discuss options and perhaps be reassessed and would be grateful for an appointment.
Thanks
I have Coeliac and also now Osteopoenia (probably caused by lack of calcium absorption due to the Coeliac). The Coeliac complicates the vitamin picture as absorption has still been a problem in the last year so I am not really sure if it has helped. I have also had acupuncture regularly which definitely helps manage the condition but it is costly. I have a C Trac which I stopped using regularly but have started again now. I will use it daily until I see you and see if it has improved by then. I have also had sessions with an osteopath (NHS) which has definitely helped my right arm. The right arm was by far the worst arm and very painful - it is now manageable which makes me wonder if I have the double pinch scenario. This makes me hesitant to have the operation in case it does not resolve things. However, the left arm, once the injections wore off has been very bad and not a lot has helped it. I am now back to very painful disturbed nights having to hang my arm over the edge of the bed to get relief!
Thank you for the appointment. I live locally and am able to attend the clinic at short notice so if you get a cancellation I would be glad to take it. I will fill the questionnaire in today.
No obvious gaps before the 7th at present but we will keep an eye out. JB
A year ago you were trying vitamin B supplements - do you think they helped? As it has been a year we should re-test and find out how bad it has got - I've booked an appointment for 7th March - letter in the post. If you could add a new severity questionnaire to the records here on the website that would be helpful. JB
