Help! My procedure has been cancelled
Dear Team,
I have just had a phone call to inform me that the pre-op appointment has been cancelled. The lady did not think that I would have the operation on the 23rd March as planned. I and my husband have arranged 2 weeks leave from work to allow for the recovery.
Would I be able to have another pre-op appointment for the Beltinge Surgery or is there a slot anywhere else, I am willing to travel.

I just wanted to let you know that Ian happy to travel anywhere to have the surgery. I am feeling so low having had the pre assessment cancelled. Do you know why the NHS has taken this action?
I have contacted theBeltinge surgery and the Dr Rein is not away.

It's a bureaucratic matter to do with managers having the right bits of paper in place I'm afraid. We're working to sort it out and I'm hopeful that we will be able to get everyone operated within a week or two of their original planned date. JB

I'm trying to make alternative arrangements but it's all a bit sudden. Bear with me for a few days. As soon as I know what's happening we'll call/email everyone affected. JB
