Worried after fall

Hi. I had CTS surgery on my left hand on 17th April which was healing well. On Sunday I tripped up the stairs and put my hands out to save myself. I landed fairly heavily and bent both my hands back. Both hands have been very painful since. Am I at risk of having done any damage or will it just delay the healing process?

By 4 weeks after surgery it should have been able to stand up to a moderate fall but of course it does depend to some extent on just how heavily you fell - even a normal wrist will break if you stress it enough and if it's very painful you should proably get it looked at in case you have broken or stretched something.
