What will likely happen this time?

Hello,
I had the steroid injections in both wrists back on 3rd Jan this year but the effects have worn off after around 4 months. I am due to come back on Thursday for another appointment. What is the likelyhood of having the injections again? Or will I just he recommended surgery?
Many Thanks
If you ae coming to our clinic the choice will largely be up to you but we tend to favour surgery for patients with quick relapses after injection and those with deteriorating or severely abnormal nerve conduction studies. Conversely we tend to use further injections for patients whose nerves are improving over time. Ultimately however they are your hands so you have to decide what you want to do with them. JB
