Six-Week Follow-Up
24 March 2020 - 10:53pm
Following steroid injections, am letting you know how my carpal tunnel is doing, as requested. Carpal tunnel symptoms seem to have gone, however, there is a small amount of pain in my left wrist on the thumb side. It feels closer to the back of the wrist than the venous side. It is not very severe pain, nothing like as bad as the carpal tunnel. It tends to manifest at night and when I do things like opening jars. Occasionally feels very slightly swollen compared to the other wrist. More of an annoyance than anything. I just mention it in case it is something that could worsen.
Thanks for the update. It's hard to know what that new wrist symptom is. It's not immediately recognisable as either a feature of CTS or a side-effect of injection so I would just keep an eye on it for now. JB
