Questionnaire for Carpal Tunnel
I have completed the questionnaire.
I have had a Carpel Tunnel operation on my left hand many years ago not sure exactly if the year.
My Father also has had both hands operated on maybe it’s his name you are familiar with .
My right hand has only been a few months and the last few weeks have been really bad , I am getting very little sleep at night which is affecting me in the day time. What is the next step for me ?
Yes that was you - I saw you in 1997, 2016 and 2019! We last injected the right side in August 2019. I think the left hand was probably operated by Mr Blackburn in 1997. You definitely had right hand symptoms in 2016.
You also have a pre-existing account on the website here, created in 2019 under the username MalcLuck and the first thing we need to do is get you back into that account and get Malc808 deleted as having two accounts on the website confuses the computers - my systems in the hospital will read the old one not Malc808. I'll send you a new password for MalcLuck, then you log in to that account and go to 'My CTS' then '"My CTS record" and then "Take a new severity score test". That will just repeat the final part of the questionnaire and add it to the old one for comparison. Let me know when you have done that and we will then get rid of Malc808n and get you booked in to be seen again. JB

Your surname/forename combination is quite unusual and I think I may already know you but if that is the case then your symptoms go back a lot longer than the 3 months repoerted in the latest questionnaire - I first saw you in 1997!. If you tell me the last three letters of your postcode that should be a good enough check on whether you are really the same person. JB
