Post steroid injections question

Hello
I received steroid injections in both wrists last week and so far, so good, although I still haven't spent a whole night without my splints.
A couple of questions if I may...
I've been having what I can only describe as hot flushes since the injections, is that common?
Also I was wondering if/when I would be able to resume weight training or is that a no no with CTS. I managed my first pain free cycle ride in about 6 months yesterday.

Yes a few people do get facial flushing after injection, mostly women but we have had one other man. It's not serious and goes away after a few days. You can weight train but try to choose exercises that do not particularly stress the carpal tunnel - keep your wrists straight and avoid very prolonged forceful grip. JB
