Surgery next friday

Hi I'm due to have surgery next Friday but my medication has changed and I wondered if it will affect the op? I'm now not taking aripiprazole or duluxotine i am taking verapamil and lithium the lithium i have started last night woke this morning with hand tremors which I'm assuming will be a problem in surgery? Should I wait for after surgery to start the lithium?

I don't think that will affect surgery. The only things that commonly cause problems are anticoagulants. I'll point this message out to the surgery team though - I imagine that is being done by the orthopaedic surgeons if it is a Friday. JB
