Reminder as requested by Doctor Bland
Good morning
I'm sending my reminder for you Doctor Bland as requested when I last saw you. Unfortunately the last steriod injections I had have made no difference and like you say its time for the operation. This was for my left hand.
Since I saw you my right hand has got considerably worse usual numb fingers etc. But one hand at a time I guess!!
I finish school on the 21st July so any time as near to that if possibly to give me chance to recover for the new term.

No any day will be fine, after 2 would be better but I can sort things with work if need be.

Also what recovery time do I need, obviously off school work but I still care for a chap of a morning, not too strenuous but obviously will take some time off, what do you recommend?

2-4 weeks recovery time after surgery is fairly average, shorter for a desk job, longer for a manual one.
I've booked you in with me on Monday 5th July at 15:00. Remind me a week before that and I'll get you added to the surgery waiting list.

At the moment we seem to have a 1-2 week wait for surgery so if I were to re-test you in early July there would be a good chance of getting surgery just after you finish school (as long as things don't change with a third wave of COVID) Is there a good time in the week when I can test you? JB
