I have tried to book an appointment through the usual channel but there is nothing available in my area in the near future.
I would be grateful if I could come along to Canterbury on a Thursday and have the treatment there.

Dear Dr Bland, since having the injections a month has gone by, and there does not appear to be any problems with CTS at the moment, apart from a little arthritis in the left hand. Thank you very much for your all the help you are giving me.

Nice to hear of a good result, thankyou. Of course there is a fair chance that it will relapse some time in the next year or so but we will cross that bridge when we come to it. JB
Dear Dr Bland, I am wondering wether it might be best to have the surgery on my left hand next month as I am concerned about my age as I will be 84 in September, I would like to know your thoights on this, thank you Ronald Murray
Carpal tunnel decompression is such minor surgery that it can be done safely at any age under local anaesthetic so I would not be in too much of a hurry to operate while it is not causing trouble. JB
No problem - if you can get here this Thursday (26th April), between about 9:30 and 12 noon we should be able to fit you in, though it may involve a few minutes hanging about. Get someone else to drive though, or come on the train! JB
