Splints
I attended your clinic at the end of february and was given some splints to try and help with my carpal tunnel symptoms. This initially improved things. However, now my symptoms are now returning, including during the night despite my wearing the splints. Is this something that normally happens? Any suggestions for improvement of my symptoms? Thanks
I have looked at the information about the steroid injections and would like to go ahead with them as I am still having symptoms in both hands. How are the injections organised? Thanks
Wait until I have had a chance to update your records tomorrow morning and then call the SIPC office in Ashford to book an appointment the numbers are in the contacts page here, but they will not give you an appointment unless they can see that I have recommended it in the main database. JB
Thanks for organising this. However I have been trying for several days to get through to book some injections with no joy. The contact numbers on the website are a recorded message saying the numer has changed to 08431162344. When calling this it just puts you on hold and despite phoning numerous times and waiting on hold for up to twenty minutes no one answers. Are you able to help me with this? Thanks
They have not told me that the numbers have changed - I'll look into it this morning and post back on here later. JB
The numbers are still the same - I have just checked and got through OK - 01233 667884 or 01233 667885 - JB
That sounds as though it may be worsening despite splinting. The next logical thing to try would be local steroid injection which we will arrange for you in primary care if you wish - it will be done by a GP who has been trained to do these particular injections and may not be at your own practice. You can read all about the injections on here before making a decision. JB
