Five months blessed relief but now again woken nightly by pain
The relief from previous steroid injections in June 2021 was immediate. Quite miraculous and a welcome surprise!.
But as warned the relief might not last long and it hasn't.
I am having house move in 2022 with some serious downsizing necessary so painfree hands again at night would be a blessing.
In the questionaire I said pain only generally woke me up once at night. This is because I generally gained relief of the pain in the best way - by getting up!. Will now try wearing splints again and see whether they make a difference.
Sorry, I did not pick up your reply on the forum at the time (Christmas week!) and the numbness and sleep disruption has got worse since then. Happy to come in for a new test and injections did seem to work well last time but also open to surgery if it is necessary. Will try emailing.

As they were both garde 5 the relatively short term relief is perhaps not too surprising. There is nothing to stop us injecting them again but given the severity I would quite tike to test them again as well. Are you free this week? JB
