7th June I presume rather than May. I have a feeling that I am going to want to see you and re-test to see whether measured median nerve function has changed at all with the injection, even though the symptoms haven't but if you want to give it 'til next week before we decide what to do next that's fine. JB
It is bank holiday monday and tuesday so I will call your office tomorrow to arrange for a new appointment for after the 07/06/2012 then you will have the latest update relating to the injection.
Kind regards
I presume the main symptoms are still unchanged so I think we are going to have to re-test sometime week beginning 11th June and try to reach a decision what to do next. There are no vacant routine appointment slots at present so I will have to fit it in as an 'extra' somewhere - so I will have to make the appointment. I'll let you know once I see the most up to date version of the diary (I was in London yesteday). JB
Looks like I will have to see you on Monday 11th June at Lunchtime. I'll get the office to call you about timing. JB
Last I heard from you (see further down in this forum) you were expecting to be seen for follow-up on 31st May - and I wanted to now how it felt then before deciding what to do next. If the GP who did the injections is unable to follow-up on the 31st you can come and see me in Canterbury instead. We have a problem in assessing this in that you have at least two different problems in the left arm and it has not been clear what symptoms are due to which problem. The injection was therefore an experiment to try and tell us how much of the problem was CTS and the lack of response makes one worry about getting an equal lack of response from surgery for CTS.
You have now made three separate posts in this forum, to each of which I have replied. The best way to use this system is to keep re-using the same 'thread'. ie if you 'Reply' to this comment, I will know that you have read it and the whole dicussion will move to the top of the list when I view the forum so that I can see there is a new comment waiting
