Is it time for another Injection?
I have had about 6 injections in my right wrist for carpal tunnel. However, my last visit, which was last year, showed that my carpal tunnel had gotten better. I still had an injection though as my symptoms were still bad.
I was off work with a separate ailment for 5 months so didn't need to use my hands as much as I would have done if I was working so I think I have benefitted from the injection longer than previous ones.
However, it has come to the time again when I am having pains in my right wrist again and even trying to sign my signature is causing me problems as it is like I can't even get my fingers or my hand to move to make the movements required.
I am wondering if it is time to have another injection, or if it is a problem with my elbows? As I seem to have both the same pain in my left and right arms when I bend my arms. Although I suppose this could be when I am bending my wrists also.
Any help would be greatly welcomed.
Kind regards.
Samantha-Jane.
It's certainly worth taking a new look at you and thinking about it. There is no rule saying that you can't develop a new problem other than CTS unfortunately. I'll send out an appointment - I presume you haven't moved. JB
