Carpalrx (great success!)
My case in both hands is fairly mild but I just wanted to give some love and attention to the Carpalrx which has without question kept it that way. It was difficult to tell after 2-3 weeks of use (correctly) that anything major was really happening, until yesterday after taking it in to show a PT the treatments were restarted after an absence of 36 hours and the difference in my left hand was ENORMOUS. Long story short, I basically suffered a flare up of numbness & a bit of tingling after a day and half of nonuse that was completely normalized after 25 minutes of this manual device on my flexed wrist and ball in my hand. Yay ! Interesting that there were no setbacks with the right hand after achieving a FINALLY fully ergonomic desktop (RBT/Quadralinks mouse, more solid footrest -- no more slouching etc) but I must have done something to aggravate the left. Anyway, a Ctrac is on order (used) so will be able to compare but avoiding therapy and/or surgery is obviously cause for celebration. If anyone else has similar experience with the Carpalrx or any similar machinery please do share ! It was only a little over 300.00 USD for a technique I would have paid thousands.
I have no connection, agreement or incentive, financial or otherwise, with the manufacturers. I don't even like their informercial advertising style, the studies that have been conducted or really anything on the site except that the product seems to be working. And like I mentioned, I wouldn't even have any certainty for that if I hadn't stopped for a period of time.
This is getting very close to advertising, which I do not permit on the site. Please post a formal declaration that you have no connection with the manufacturers of the 'Carpal Rx' and are not receiving any financial or other benefit in kind for pushing it or I will remove this. JB
