No Improvement
Good morning Emma, sadly I have seen no improvement since my injection last week, in fact my right hand now has symptoms during the day now too. I am finding it almost impossible to sleep at all and this is having a huge impact on my ability to function during the day. Can I have another injection ? any other suggestions ? Kindest regards

Thank you, yes I am wearing the splint. Fingers crossed for some improvement in the meantime !

Interestingly the pain has changed, at night I no longer have the extreme pins and needles rather its a sharp ache which can only be alleviated by getting up and moving around. During the day I now have the pins and needles particularly when typing and driving ! Hoping to hear from the hospital soon. I am no longer sobbing but there are a few choice words in the middle of the night ! K
Glad to hear there has been a slight improvement. It may settle further during the weeks after injection. Let us know if you havent heard regarding the operation within the 4 weeks following your appointment. EK
It may still work over the next week or so. Do you have a splint to wear in the mean time? Hopefully you will hear from the surgery team about your operation fairly soon. EK
