Update from steroid injection approx 6 weeks ago
Hello
I do not feel that the injection has done much to improve the carpel tunnel in my left hand.
The numbness is still there on a permanent basis and i find that as soon as i use my left hand (my dominant hand) the tingling and numbness and burning sensation gets worse much quicker than it did previously.
I don't know whether it would be better to have the operation?
I look forward to hearing from you.
I have done another questionaire. Yes i can bend my fingers more than i could do before
Those still look like pretty severe symptoms overall though, I think ideally I would like to see you myself - would you mind coming back in so I can take a look - would probably be week beginning Oct 24th I think? JB
Yes i can come back in during that week.
Also i selected to receive email when i get a reply, but i do not receive one
I've put you in as an extra at 13:00 Wednesday 26th Oct. Lots of emails from here are getting blocked at present. I think because the software we used to write it is so out of date. JB
It would certainly be worth considering surgery. Can you bend the fingers any more than when Emma saw you? It would also help if you could complete a new severity score for me here on the website - there is a button for this on the home page when you are logged in - "add a new severity score". JB
