return of carpel tunnel
Dear Dr Bland, I had the injection in both of my hands in september2011 which lasted aproximately 6 months only to return with more severity. I had the second injections in both hands in march this year (2012)only to find it has returned again in both hands within the 6 months,waking me up several times a night.As I hold a full time verty demanding job (catering manager for over 1300)when we last met you spoke about operating if it returned again. Regards Linda Ward
just picked up reply,what time were your appointments for ?

2, 3, and 3:30 but I think it's just being organised on the phone. JB
I have just returned home after my appointment and forgot to ask (you always think of things after the appointment)will both hands be operated on at the same time?
Regards
Linda award
No. It's a bit too disabling having both done simultaneously. As a further consideration there is also the curious fact that, occasionally, when you operate on the first side the other one gets better too. JB
Looks as though we are heading that way doesn't it. We should test it again and book you in for surgery I think. There are a couple of cancellations in this afternoon's clinic if you are free. If you don't read this quickly enough to take advantage of that or are unavailable then I will find a space ina few weeks.
I will move this thread to the Canterbury patients forum once you have had a chance to read it. JB
