Research on the experience of Carpal Tunnel - volunteers sought

Hi all,

My name is Rohan. I am a researcher currently conducting research on how patients with carpal tunnel syndrome use the internet, including this site, to find information and experiences related to their condition.

I would really like to hear from any forum members that would be happy to share their experiences with me as part of that research. It would involve either a short 20-25 minute phone/video call interview with you to ask about your experience of carpal tunnel, diagnosis/treatment (where relevant) and how you searched for information and support including your use of this site and forum.

The background to this research is I am a researcher and am undertaking some additional training in research and design. In that capacity am working on a project requested by a doctor treating hand and wrist conditions (not Dr Bland) to look at the experiences of patients online. This could ultimately lead to the design of a new website or app for that Doctor but at the moment my focus is making sure we research and understand the current experience of patients.

I am not being paid for conducting this research but it does form part of my professional development. I have asked Dr Bland's permission in advance to post on the forum.
