return of Carpel tunnel after injection

Hi . Had Carpel tunnel steroid injections on 30/07/12. Worked only for a couple of months. Symptoms seem worse now than before. Wearing wrist splints in bed but still keeping me awake. Would like the possibility of surgery.thanks Debbie

Is one side worse than the other? So far as I can see from the records the response to injection was rather better on the right, which was the milder side. We could well be heading for surgery but I might be inclined to re-test first if you can spare the time? JB

Hi. the right hand has had some improvement. the left one feels worse. I can do a retest whenever it can be fitted it . thanks
