Should I cancel my appointment?

I have an appointment at Canterbury hospital to check the severity of my carpal tunnel. It's my right hand that's particularly bothersome. Unfortunately, I fell and broke a metacarpal in my left hand on the 12th April. Should I re arrange my appointment which is booked for Tuesday 25th April?

I have two fingers buddy strapped, but happy to remove that for the test. I'll attend as arranged. Thank you.

I urgently need a new appointment. I believe my carpal tunnel has got so much worse, my symptoms are awful and I can’t cope much longer like this!
Please can you arrange for a follow up appointment?

It depends on how accessible the hand is. Usually they do not do anything very major for a metcarpal fracture but it depends to some extent on the exact nature of the fracture. As long as we can reach the fingers and wrist we can probably still test it. JB
