3 monthly followup

I had cts surgery in the last week of October 2012 and haven't as yet received the forms to fill in to document the progression 3 months on from surgery - will I be getting them soon? Just a query, not a hassle!! Thanks

Should be due round about now - we do them in batches so the 3 month timing is a bit variable depending on whether I take a holiday or get too busy for a while. We also missed a whole group of these because operations done in Whitstable were not being recorded on the system and thus not triggering a follow up but I think we have corrected that now. How is the result of surgery - succesful? JB

Thanks for your reply -
succesful surgery and v pleased that I have no pain/numbness in r hand. I have been left with slight tingling at the ends of my thumb and fingers which is lessening as time passes. The ligament has become hard and solid either side of the scar and approx 3cm beyond, towards my fingers. This of concern as all was well for 2 months.... will this return to normal with time?

That sense of something firm, and sometimes painful too, where one expects the cut ends of the ligament to be is quite common but the majority do seem to improve with time. I'll try to find time to do a batch of follow-up letters today. JB
