A month on after steroid injection......

Been suffering CT for two years since the birth of my son. Finally got diagnosed properly and went for the steroid injection a month ago - it's worked wonderfully and I can now sleep comfortably without my wrist splint! I occasionally suffer a slight tingling but this is easily shaken off.

So impressed and relieved it worked for me!

Thanks for the follow-up information. As usual it is encouraging to hear from patients who are doing well as well as those who have problems. There is of course quite a high chance that the problem will recur at some point but all you need to do when it does is contact me. JB

Fingers crossed it won't be for a while, thank you for the reply...

Hi , it’s been a few years since my steroid injections but I have noticed the CT coming back gradually - can’t even hold a phone without the tingling on numb hands , affecting sleep etc how do I go about getting another injection? I hear the gp waiting list is terribly long.....

Thanks in advance , Lou

No need to go back through GP. We can just see you again and deal with it. I'll schedule an appointment when I get in to the office tomorrow. JB

Hi, it’s been a week since my most recent steroid injection and wanted to post that all’s well, had no trouble at all and it’s working wonderfully. I promised the lovely Dr (Katie?) who issued the injection that I’d give an update after a week. On a side note - wanted to say how lovely she was and that I haven’t even bruised! So thanks again , Lou .
