Terrible pain
Dear Dr Bland
I had the operation on my right hand on the 26th January 2013 and all seems to be well.
However, my left hand is very, very bad. I did not sleep at all last night.
Would it be possible for me to come for an injection as soon as possible?

I am writing on behalf of my father as he received a letter from you about the operation performed by Dr Rine.
Unfortunately Ron had a stroke six weeks ago following the death of my mother. His speech has been badly affected and he cannot read or write.I hope he will make some improvement but I know it will take time.
He does not appear to have any pain in either hand and the operation site healed very well.

Thankyou for the feedback and sorry to hear about the stroke. I guess that, with that speech problem, it is likely to be affecting the operated hand too. I will take it that the operation has been successful so far as we can tell. PLease pass on my best wishes for recovery. JB
You can come in this morning to have it injected if you can get here before 12:00 noon. JB
