what certain letters mean

hi dr bland. i have seen you some time ago ,had two injections which worked for awhile. now the symptoms are even worse than before. im coming to see you again on 29 may for another test. in the meantime i have done your questionare and some of the initials i dont understand. could you explain what ANN and LRP mean.
We evaluate the answers to the questionnaire using two different mathematical methods - ANN is artificial neural network, LRP is likelihood ratio probability. I have previously discussed expanding them with another user but the expanded versions don't really mean anything to most people either. JB
