steroid injection

Hello
Thank you for seeing me earlier today. I have contacted my Doctors surgery as I was curious as to what dosage was prescribed to me when I had the steriod injection in March and they have confirmed that I had depo medrone 80mg/2ml, do you still think I should have another injection?

Oh ok that was what the receptionist read from my notes, that sounds like a high dosage I was given before?! I will call tomorrrow to book in to have it done through you and hopefully have more luck this time. Thank u again for your help.

It would have been a high dose but there are various ways of writing the record of what was done which could lead to some ambiguity. JB
That would be a very interesting dose if they actually injected 80mg in 2 ml. Most people inject 40mg in 1ml. I would still try once more with injection because we will get everything properly documented that way, and second injections are sometimes more successful than first anyway. JB
