Update following injections
18 June 2013 - 4:01pm
Hello, Dr Bland.
Just a post to follow up Injections on both wrists on Thurs, 13th June.
Both wrists feel a lot better, and over the weekend I had a better sleep pattern. But this week there is still minor pins and needles/pain in both wrists when resting and driving. When working it seems a lot better. Maybe some more treatment required? Many Thanks for everything, Kevin.
No-one knows for sure whether it is worth giving another dose soon after the first. A Spanish trial a few years back used an injection protocol where they re-injected any patient who still had any symptoms at all two weeks after the first one and they got good results from injection but variations of policy like that need systematically testing. For the present I would stick to our current East Kent protocol which is to review the situation 6 weeks after injection so please stay in touch and we will see how it goes. JB
