Using CT splints

Using the splints you gave me, [apart from difficulty getting used to sleeping with them], I have had only two episodes of waking up with numbness/tingling. However, I am still having difficulty with numbness/ tingling during the day. Is this likely to be due to the thumb spicas I wear for severe osteoarthritis of both thumbs?
I think I would have to see the thumb spica's to make any comment on that I'm afraid - do they extend the wrist at all? JB
