Surgery

Hi I have got to have surgery on both hands but what I wanted to ask is if your asleep for the surgery, because if you have to be awake I don't know if I could do it.
Would be grateful for people's comments.

It's almost always done under local anaesthetic unless there are very special circumstances. You might want to post this question in the general forum - you are more likely to get other patients replying with their own experiences there. JB
